Review of the Seven ‘Til Midnight Seductress Tube Dress

When I saw the Seductress Tube Dress by Seven ‘Til Midnight at EdenFantasys, I snapped it up for review as quickly as I could. The strap webs in the front screamed “sexy” to me, and I loved how the sides looked.

It basically covers the bare essentials, but there might be room for some variation. If I actually had any other tube top dress in a contrasting color, I’m betting it would look awesome underneath this. Technically, you could go clubbing in this, I guess, but it’s not modest enough for me to consider going out with it on.

While the packaging of the Seductress Tube Dress isn’t discreet, EdenFantasys always ships in plain boxes with the return address as “Web Merchants”.

The package of the dress is basically an envelope-like box made of shiny, thick paper. It’s sealed with numerous transparent circle stickers, which seems a bit of overkill, to me. There are two stickers on each of the box, adding up to eight stickers in total.  The front of the package offers a small triangular window in the bottom left corner of the front of the package.

There’s really not much information on the packaging. There’s just some vary basic information.

Inside, you’ll find the dress wrapped around a rectangular piece of cardstock.

Made of 90% nylon and 10% spandex, the Seductress Tube Dress is very stretchy and comfortable. The material is fairly smooth, with just a little bit of texture at the top and bottom bands. It’s similar to swimsuit fabric, only slightly thicker.

The Seductress Tube Dress comes in One-size-fits-most and Plus-size. Since I’m so petite, I went with the One-size. The size chart for Seven ‘Til Midnight says One-size is dress size 2-14, Cup A-D, Bust 32-38, Waist 24-32, Hips 34-40, and weight 60-160.

I’m sorry, I’m just going by what the dress size calculator told me. I don’t normally buy dresses by number, usually by XS or OS.

The Seductress Tube Dress has five sets of three-strap sections going up the front, straps all down the side, and what almost looks like a strap version of a spine and ribs on the back of the dress. Depending on how tall you are, this dress may or may not cover the necessities. I’m 5’1” and the opening in the front stops a little below where my pubic area starts.

Everything looks like very good quality. There most certainly are no seams, and all of the stitching looks good; no strings or anything loose. The straps seem pretty sturdy, too.

There’s two tags sewn into the back. You might want to take those out, because they will show through the back straps.

One is simple a company tag for Seven ‘Til Midnight. The other states the style number, materials, care instructions, size, and says “Made in China”.

It fits me pretty well. You can tell where it’s a little loose around my waist in the first picture, though. I left the tags in, so you could see how those look. I cut them out after taking pictures. They’re not very noticeable. All you really see is the pink one.

For the most part, the Seductress Tube Dress stays in place. It sneaks up a little in the back sometimes, but it’s not as bad as other dresses I’ve had. Of course, with all that open space, this dress has plenty of air flow to keep me cool and comfortable.

Cleaning

Hand wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Do not wring or twist. Do not iron. Line dry. I’ve tossed mine in with my dark load on warm and let it tumble dry with no issues. If you choose to deviate from the care instructions on the tag, though, I’m not responsible for what might happen.

Since there are no garment straps sewn into the Seductress Tube Dress, just store it flat in a drawer.

Other than it being just slightly loose around my middle, I don’t have anything to complain about with this dress. It’s well-made, possibly one of my sexiest pieces of clothing yet, and comfortable. It also has an interesting effect on the body. When I look at it, my eyes either go to the solid section, or to the straps on the sides. This either makes me look slimmer, or curvier.
