When I saw the cross bone prints tube top with tie string thong and matching lace top thigh high from Music Legs, I thought it looked like a rather fun set. Nothing wrong with a little pirate role play, and some stockings that could even work into a gothic lolita outfit.
Like most lingerie I’ve reviewed, this set didn’t quite come as pictured in the product photos. For better, or for worse? Well…
Packaging
Although the packaging of the Opaque Glittery Skull Tube Top and Thigh High Set is most certainly not discreet – and fairly tacky, in my opinion – EdenFantasys always ships discretely.
The front of the packaging lacks information, but sports a small plastic window to see the material of this set. The back, however, states the size, cleaning instructions, and material. You could reuse this for storage, but the cardstock that it’s made of probably won’t hold up for very long.
Material – Nylon
I’ll go along with the tube top and stockings being nylon, but I’m not sure about the thong. The top top feels very much like soft pantyhose, as do the stockings. The thong has a different feel to it, and seems more like a nylon/polyester blend, to me. There is no tag, however, on the inside of the thong to confirm my suspicions on the materials used.
Size
The packaging states that this one-size-fits-most set is suitable for those who fall within the ranges of 5’-5’10” and 100-175lbs.

Design / Construction
The tube top is basically just your typical tube top, but made of out nylon, which makes it very stretchy and just a smidge see-through. Just looking at myself in the mirror, I thought it looked opaque enough to be able to wear it as a normal tube top, but the pictures I took made me question that. Give the fact that I can see my nipples through the fabric in the pictures, I doubt this would be alright to go out in. Over another shirt, or under a jacket or something, though, it wouldn’t be bad. No strings or runs, but there are some imperfections in the material. See that black line over my nipple? At least I don’t have to worry about the sparkles coming off; they’re printed right on the material, not glued on like glitter. Also, the design printing doesn’t come through the other side, so there’s no scratchy feeling to deal with.
The thong has stretchy ties on each side, and the panel part of it stretches a little, too. If you were hoping for a cotton crotch, Music Legs didn’t sew one into this thong. There are no loose strings or other issues.
The stockings, although nice, have the same issue that the tube top does. See the black lines above the skull on my left leg? There are no issues with them, otherwise. The toes are not reinforced. As with the tube top, the sparkles are printed on the material.
Fit / Wear
The tube top fits well – although it’s much longer than the one that the product model is wearing – and stays decently in place. The top of it has a slightly thicker band, which keeps it from slipping down. The bottom does tend to inch up after a while, though. Since this top is so soft and comfortable, I’ve been using it for lounging sometimes.
I had to give myself a major wedgie with the thong to get it to fit right. The panel part of it just isn’t long enough, and it makes front ride too low for me. I’m definitely not impressed with it, and I doubt it’ll fit anyone with a frame bigger than my petite self. At least it’s easy to remove in the heat of the moment? Feh…
Just like the tube top, the stockings are soft and comfortable. They’re easy to slip on, stay decently in place, and they have a fun design that doesn’t leave glitter everywhere. They’d probably be fun to wear out under a goth skirt, but I think I’d probably want a garter belt to keep them up.
Cleaning / Care
The tube top is actually the only thing that has a care tag on it. I wouldn’t expect it from the stockings, but I’m surprised that there wasn’t a tag on the thong.
The packaging states to hand wash all of the items. Don’t put them in the washer/dryer, or try to iron or bleach them. Hang the items to dry. I’ve chucked the thong in my washer/dryer with no issues, but I wouldn’t dare wash the others that way. I’m not responsible if you deviate from the care instructions. I’m only saying what I’ve done.
Storage
It would probably just be easiest to store these items flat in your lingerie drawer, but you could reuse the packaging for storage.
Opinion
For the most part, I’m happy with this set. The quality of the nylon could have been a little better, in terms of the extra black streaks, but it’s pretty good for the price. The thong is really what irritates me. I doubt I’ll be wearing it much. Do keep in mind to expect the tube top to be longer than what is featured on the product model. Personally, I was happy that this was the case, but I know that not everyone will feel this way.
